Tammy Plotkin-Oren, CFP®, ChFC®, MBA

Financial Adviser

Tammy is a Certified Financial Planner CFP® in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is the principal and owner of TPO Financial & Insurance Services. As an adviser, Tammy assists her clients with financial planning, insurance planning, investment planning, and retirement preparation. Additionally, she has a strong ability to focus on the big picture, allowing her to create comprehensive plans for each individual and demonstrate her genuine care for their financial future. Bringing her clients peace of mind regarding the future and taking the burden of financial planning off their shoulders is what makes Tammy so passionate about her work.

Her standards of integrity, commitment, professionalism, knowledge, and loyalty are only part of what makes her so successful. Tammy works with her client’s best interest in mind and uses her expansive background and approachable, understanding character to really get to know her clients and what they need. These attributes, along with Tammy’s passion and expertise have earned her the honor of MDRT every year since she started, 2016 Court of the Table, New York Life Council every year, Chairman’s Council three times, and President’s Councils during the other years. Tammy is active in her business community and a member of the East Bay Estate Planning Council, the Financial Planning Association of San Francisco and Provisors. Tammy is also active in her local community and serves on several boards including University of California Berkeley Hillel.

Prior to becoming a financial adviser, Tammy graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in Economics in 1994 and with an MBA in Business Administration in 1999. In between the time she earned her Bachelor’s and her Master’s, Tammy worked as an investment banking analyst. Upon graduation from business school, she began working in product marketing at an internet photography website. Today Tammy is happily married to Arnon and has three daughters, Ella, Dahlia and Nava. When she is not at work, Tammy loves to spend time with her family and her dog Mika, travel, run, and catch up on sleep.

Mark Cromwell

Executive Assistant

Mark Cromwell is an administrative assistant at TPO Financial & Insurance Services, and has been with the company for 11 years and in the financial services industry for 15 years. Within his role, Mark provides assistance in all areas of presentation generation and in the delivery and service of insurance and financial products. Additionally, Mark helps with the everyday setup and function of the office. Mark finds great reward in working with a team that is so passionate about their work and the top-of-the-line service they provide. When he is not at work, Mark spends his time drawing, painting, watching movies, listening to music, and diving into great literature.

Karen Hill

Executive Assistant

Karen Hill is a licensed service assistant at TPO Financial & Insurance Services, and has been excelling in the financial services industry for over 24 years. Within her role, Karen assists clients, schedules appointments, and assists in the service of insurance and financial products. Karen finds true fulfillment in her work because of the opportunity it provides to interact with and assist the company’s clients. Karen has one daughter, LaTayna, and in her free time she loves to be with her family, bowl, fish, attend sporting events, and go on many road trips.
